Alivetide Safety Instructions

  • Read and follow all warning labels and instructions prior to using the cooler
  • The cooler keeps food and beverages cold by being airtight when closed and latched. There is a risk of suffocation and death if children or pets get inside the cooler with the lid closed.
  • Do not allow children and pets to play in or around the cooler
  • Watch children and pets closely any time they are near or around the cooler
  • Do not use the lid of the cooler to sit on or stand on – One of the design features Tim requested was the addition of the front and back grab rails to allow a person to steady themselves while sitting on the cooler in a moving boat.
  • Do not stand on the cooler
  • Use cooler only for storing food and drinks
  • The cooler weighs approximately 48 pounds empty.
  • Lift only with two or more people and use legs to lift. Do not lift cooler if you are pregnant or could be pregnant.
  • Check inside of cooler thoroughly before latching the lid
  • When opening or closing the lid on the cooler keep hands and limbs away from potential pinch points
  • Grasp latching straps firmly and keep the straps under control when latching the cooler lid shut
  • Keep lid of cooler closed and latched when not adding or removing food or drinks
  • Take care not to damage any rubber gaskets around the lid or to puncture the cooler
  • Do not drink melted water from the cooler
  • Do not consume raw food that has come into contact with ice in the cooler; Do not consume ice that has come into contact with raw food in the cooler
  • After properly cleaning the inside and lid of the cooler, store cooler in a location away from children and pets
